Christmas; Kebbi State Governor Calls For Peaceful Coexistence And Unity

The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Bagudu has felicitated with Christians in the State as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.
Bagudu called on all Nigerians to use the Christmas festive period to continue to live peacefully with each other irrespective of any religious, political or ethnic differences.
In a statement by Governor Bagudu’s Special Adviser on Media, Yahaya Sarki, the governor also called on the citizens to hold the unity of the country sacrosanct and non negotiable.
He said in his Christmas and New Year message that Kebbi State and the Country at large stands to benefit more in terms of prosperity when absolute unity is given a chance.
“With unity, Nigeria will continue to grow from strength to strength. This means that the country would be at par with its contemporaries.
“Our diversity and population should be an advantage, more opportunities, and not problems.”
He further stressed the need for Nigerians to exhibit more patriotism.
“There is the need for the citizens to also exhibit more love and patriotism in favour of the nation.
” This is absolutely crucial if Nigeria must fully evenly develop and for the leaders to be able to facilitate its growth,” he added.
Bagudu thanked the people of the state for their support, loyalty and trust for his administration to continue to take Kebbi State to greater height of prosperity, peace and tranquility.
“The festivities of Christmas and New Year are joyous moments for merriment, reflections and the exchange of love,” he said.
