For over five years, CitySports Africa has impacted more than 250,000 young people across Africa, championing a bold vision to transform 10 million lives through structured sports and personal development programs, and the Summer Camp is one of its flagship initiatives.

We started the CitySports Summer Camp to give kids a safe, structured place to build their talents during the holidays instead of staying idle at home,” said Emmanuella Igomu, PR Manager, CitySports Africa.

What makes our camp unique is that we blend top-level sports coaching with character-building. Kids don’t just play, they learn teamwork, discipline, and leadership that stays with them for life. The CitySports Summer Camp isn’t just a fun way to spend the holidays; it’s a pathway for kids to become full-fledged CitySports students and benefit from our year-round development programs.” Igomu added.

A typical day at the camp includes Leadership & Life Skills Session, Sports Training, Team Games & Skill Challenges: Reflection & Social Activities. The camp is open to all children, no prior sports club or team membership is required. Whether a child is new to sports or already showing talent, they’ll find a place to belong and thrive.

CitySports Africa’s track record speaks for itself, alumni have gone on to represent elite school teams, earn scholarships, sign with international football academies, and compete at national and global tournaments. This year alone, CitySports teams brought home two gold trophies from the Schwabenland Cup in Germany as part of their annual Global Sports Program.
