The Civil Society -Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria, CS-SUNN, has launched an Online School “The Nutrition, Advocacy, and Leadership course”.
The Academy is a comprehensive work from the CS-SUNN’s Advocacy and Leadership Manual (CALM), for all Civil Society Organizations, individuals, persons or groups interested in or working in the space of Nutrition, Advocacy and Nutrition coordination.
It offers “36 Free Lessons in 10 Modules” and provides students with advanced knowledge and skills on Nutrition Basics, Advocacy Skills and Strategies, Budget Advocacy and Resource mobilisation, Coordination for nutrition system strengthening among others.
“This course has been structured to equip you not only with theoretical knowledge and technical skills for nutrition advocacy, but also aims to hone skills such as Leadership and Team building that are necessary to be effective as a Nutrition Advocate in Nigeria and beyond. CS-SUNN trusts that you will find her interactions rewarding and hope that the knowledge gained will serve you well both in the short and long term,” the Society said.
The course has a significant workload, is self-paced and the tests can run for weeks depending on the participant’s pace.
According to CS-SUUN, at the end of each module, the student Is expected to undertake a test before proceeding to the next module, then with an on-line certification at the end of the course.
