Reverend Edward Obumneme Joseph of Freedom Chariot Church has cautioned Nigerian youths against any action that can lead them into trouble as Christians prepare for Christmas and New year festivities.

Reverend Obumneme stated this during the 11th thanksgiving service of the Church at KpiriKpiri Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital.

He enjoined youths and other Nigerians to pray and take action to secure the country as prayer alone without works is nothing.

“Freedom Chariot Church has embarked on propagating all Nigerians, especially the youths to ensure that the country’s integrity is not bastardized by the evil ones. Our youths are the leaders of both today and tomorrow, that is why we are focusing on them to ensure that evil ones do not destroy them”. Obumneme said.

“Youths Empowerment is also our priority because as the Church revives them, they are empowered as well,” he noted.

The Speaker, who gave the sermon during the thanksgiving service, Professor Johnson Obunna said “Jesus is the light of the world and I urge you to uphold him because every child of God has that light and no child of God should allow that light to quench if the light quenches, it means that darkness will overtake the world and evil will abound”

Mr Agwu Nweze who represented Chioma Nweze who is the Chairperson of the thanksgiving encouraged Reverend Obumneme to continue in his good work of training the Youths of better tomorrow.

A Law Teacher, Barrister Ben Igwenyi said thanksgiving is what every child of God should do yearly.
