Commandant Advocates Professionalism In Nigerian Army Narrative

The Commandant of the Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), Lieutenant Colonel Adamu Ngulde has emphasised the importance of professionalism and technical skills in shaping the narrative of the Nigerian Army (NA).

He laid the emphasis at the graduation ceremony of the Third Quarter Course 2024, comprising Warrant Officers Public Relations Management Course, A2 Video Operations Course, and X3 News Reporting Course in Abuja.

The Commandant said; “the graduands have been equipped with the necessary skills to manage public perception, handle the media effectively, and convey the essence of military operations and events.”

Lieutenant Colonel Ngulde noted that in a world where images and videos often speak louder than words, the knowledge acquired by the graduand is vital in shaping the narrative of the NA and communicate the Army’s mission and values to various stakeholders.

He expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, for his unflinching support to the Directorate of Army Public Relations and NASPRI in particular since he assumed Command.

The Chief Instructor NASPRI, Captain Tonye Wenke expressed satisfaction on the performance of students during the course describing it as commendable.

In attendance during the graduation were the representative of the Commander, Nigeria Army Cyber Warfare Command, Maj H Emmanuel, Lt Col UA Okeke of the Directorate of Army Physical Training, Deputy Director Army Public Relations, NA Farms and Ranches, Maj MM Jafaru among others.

The climax of the event were the presentation of certificates to the graduating students and awards to the outstanding students.
