Commander seeks inter-service cooperation for operational success

In a move to foster synergy and inter-service cooperation amongst the Armed Forces, the General Officer Commanding, (GOC) 6 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Jamal Abdussalam paid a reciprocal visit to the Commander Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Pathfinder, Commodore Suleman Dantshoho Ibrahim;
A statement by Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 6 Division, Lieutenant Colonel Iweha Ikedichi said General Jamal Abdussalam emphasized that it is important for the services to work in synergy for the success of joint operations being carried out by the armed forces across the theatres.

The GOC who led some commanders and staff officers of the Division on the visit to the Nigerian Navy Ship Pathfinder stated that following his assumption of command as the 10th General Officer Commanding, 6 Division Nigerian Army, it became imperative for officers to take a cue from the relationship between the service chiefs in order to continue to attain successes in joint operations within their areas of responsibility.

The Commander NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Suleman Dantshoho Ibrahim appreciated the GOC and pledged the cooperation and support of NNS Pathfinder to the operations of the Division even as he eulogized the cordial relations between the Division and the Pathfinder.

He charged officers to pick role models and follow their paths to make success in their careers.
