Commission Commends Foundation for Raising Funds for Out-of-School Children

Chairman Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has joined other stakeholders in lauding IA Foundation for raising funds towards getting out-of-school children back to school.

Dabiri-Erewa at the Charity Ball and Fundraising of IA Foundation held at the Lagos Civic Centre commended Mrs. Ibironke Adeagbo, the CEO, of IA Foundation for the initiative which complements Government efforts in addressing the problem.

Dabiri-Erewa who was a Special Guest of Honour implored other Nigeria Diasporans to emulate the initiative by giving back to the country and making a difference in the lives of the people.

Earlier, Mrs. Ibironke Adeagbo, the CEO, of IA Foundation, solicited support as she believed that the children are the future of the country.

She also stated that returning them to school would alleviate poverty, reduce insecurity and result in enhanced skills that could be used to power the economy.


Also in attendance were Chief Femi Falana, (SAN) Human Rights Lawyer, and other dignitaries.
