FRSC Embarks On Free Vehicle Safety Checks

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Kwara State Command is embarking on free vehicle safety check begining from 17th to 20th, March, this year.

This is contained in a statement by the Spokesperson of the Command, Basambo Busari.

According to her, in view of this, personnel of the Corps have been deployed on the road, motor parks, fleet operators, ministries and departments for the purpose of conducting safety checks on all manners of vehicles with a view to advising vehicle owners as appropriate.

Exercise devoid of punitive measure

The statement has therefore urged members of the public to cooperate with the FRSC team as the exercise is completely free and devoid of any punitive measure.

The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Muftau Irekeola appreciated all road users that have been complying with traffic rules and regulations.

He also enjoyed other motorists to pay attention to those areas that needed to be corrected as identified by FRSC personnel.
