The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) says plans are underway to present innovative projects and initiatives that are sustainable for the people of Niger Delta.
The Managing Director of the NDDC, Samuel Ogbuku who stated this during a briefing held in Abuja with the NDDC’s top executives also expressed readiness to work closely with the newly appointed Minister, Abubakar Momoh
Presenting an in-depth analysis of the ongoing initiatives, projects, and challenges facing the organization, Ogbuku reiterated the steadfastness of the commission to the advancement of the Niger Delta region and its steadfastness in upholding transparency, accountability, and comprehensive development.
“We are trying to bring out innovation that is sustainable for the people of Niger Delta, the organization eagerly anticipates working closely with the newly appointed Honorable Minister, we Know with your wealth of experience working with you, you are going to encourage us and we will get better.”
He said that the commission would work with State Government, stakeholders, and International Organizations.
“This is an extensive briefing to acquaint the recently appointed Minister, Mr Abubakar Momoh with the functions and significant undertakings of the NDDC”
The discussions at the briefing covered a wide range of topics, including infrastructural development, community empowerment programs, environmental sustainability projects, and the promotion of economic growth in the Niger Delta region.
