OpenAI is currently in negotiations with several media corporations, including CNN, Fox Corp, and Time, to potentially license their work, according to a recent article in Bloomberg News.

The artificial intelligence startup aims to secure licensing agreements for articles from Warner Bros. Discovery Inc’s CNN, intending to utilize them in training ChatGPT. Additionally, the startup plans to incorporate CNN’s content into its products, the report said.

This comes as OpenAI and its financial backer Microsoft are facing multiple lawsuits accusing them of using copyrighted works to train artificial-intelligence (AI) products.
