Council Chairman Promises Inclusive Government at Ojudu Lagos LGA

The Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Mr. David Odunmbaku has promised to run an all inclusive government to enable the dividends of democracy get to the people at the grassroots.

Mr. Odunmbaku who made the promise at the swearing-in ceremony of the councillors at the council secretariat in Lagos state, southwest Nigeria, said he would work harmoniously for the growth of the council in relation to the social harmony devoid of ethnic or tribal sentiments

The Council Chairman while calling for support and cooperation amongst members of staff, political appointees and elected officers, assured them of good welfare packages as well as good governance, adequate security, standard education and improved health facilities across the length and breath of Ojodu LCDA.

The chairman promised to take the council to the most enviable height and continue to be a role model to others as he lauded the teeming supporters for their relentless efforts and support at all times.

Odunmbaku while emphasising on the need for grassroots development, admonished the sworn-in Councillors to continue to serve as democratically elected Councilors at the council and give attention to the yearnings of people they represent.

He said they should not hesitate in channeling their requests, suggestions, constructive and objective criticism where necessary.

He extended his deepest appreciations to the founding fathers, Party leaders, Royal father’s, Community Development Council, Community Development Area, religious leaders, market women, youths among others for standing tall to take Ojodu LCDA to its deserved destination.
