The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 33 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 5 states of the federation.
Lagos state state is top on the list with 23 cases, Rivers-6, Imo-2, FCT-1, Kaduna-1.
According to NCDC, it says,
“Today’s report includes: A backlog of 23 cases for Lagos State from 9th (18) and 10th (5) March 2022.
“A backlog of 1 case reported for Kaduna from 28th Feb 2022.
“4 States with zero cases reported: Abia, Edo, Plateau, and Sokoto.”
With the latest report, 254,894 cases have been confirmed, 249,326 people discharged and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
