COVID-19: NCDC records 53 fresh cases

Nigeria has recorded 53 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 9 states of the federation.

Lagos state records the highest with 19 cases, FCT-7, Plateau-7, Rivers-7, Imo-5, Kano-4, Zamfara-2, Bayelsa-1, Gombe-1.

According to NCDC, it says,

“Today’s report includes 19 Confirmed cases reported from Lagos State includes additional 9 for November 10th & 10 cases for 11th.

5 confirmed cases reported from Imo State for November 10th. 

4 Confirmed cases reported from Kano State for November 10th (1) & 11th (3).

16 discharged cases reported from Kano State for November 10th 2021. 

295 discharged cases reported from FCT are community discharges. 

Backlog of 10 deaths reported from Edo State. 

0 cases reported from Delta, Edo and Sokoto States.

 

With the latest report, 212,947 cases have been confirmed, 205,000 people discharged and 2,933 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
