Nigeria has recorded 104 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 162,593.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, 104 new cases were from 12 states. Lagos state reported the highest number with 48 new cases, Enugu State was second with 16 while Katsina state had the lowest with 1 new case.

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 28 March, 162,593 cases had been confirmed, 150,308 cases treated and discharged, while 2,048 deaths were recorded.
