Nigeria has recorded 1,143 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 145,664.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, the 1,143 new cases were from 20 states. Lagos reported the highest number with 319 new cases while the nation’s Federal Capital Territory was second with 157 cases.

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 13 February, 145,664 cases had been confirmed, 120,399 cases treated and discharged, while 1,747 deaths were recorded.
