Nigeria has recorded 1,368 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 148,296.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, the 1,368 new cases were from 28 states. Anambra state reported the highest number with 344 new cases, Oyo was second with 172 while the nation’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT was third with 148 cases.
The NCDC report added that Anambra state recorded 762 community recoveries, 132 in Plateau state and 126 in the FCT

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 16 February, 148,296 cases had been confirmed, 124,483 cases treated and discharged, while 1,777 deaths were recorded.
