Nigeria has recorded 137 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 207,616.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its website https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/ on Sunday morning, October 10, 2021.
According to the NCDC, “The 137 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (46), FCT (35), Kaduna (20), Benue (13), Oyo (9), Kano (6), Rivers (6), Ekiti (1) and Nasarawa (1).”
The NCDC also stated that as of 9th October, 207,616 cases had been confirmed, 195,132 cases treated and discharged, while 2,745 deaths were recorded.
