Nigeria has recorded 28 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 165,301.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, 28 new cases were from 6 states. Lagos state reported the highest number with 10 new cases, Rivers was second with 7 while Kaduna state had the lowest with 1 new case.

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 6 May, 165,301 cases had been confirmed, 155,424 cases treated and discharged, while 2,065 deaths were recorded.
