COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 31 new cases

Nigeria has confirmed 31 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.

The National Centre for Disease Control NCDC announced this on Saturday night via its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov.

According to the NCDC, the 31 cases are from the following States:  Lagos-15, Gombe-5, Akwa Ibom-4, FCT-3, Kaduna-2, Kwara-2.

The latest figure brings the total number of confirmed cases to, 166,285 with 156,557 discharged and a total of  2,071 deaths.
