COVID-19: Nigeria confirms 376 new cases, 32 deaths

Nigeria has recorded 376 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this  in its daily update on the virus.

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 14 states of the federation.

It says: Today’s report includes 215 cases reported in Lagos include 16th October (36), 2021 and 179 backlog from 11th September, 2021.

Others are Rivers (82), Ondo(16), Imo(14), Plateau (12), Kaduna (10), Kwara (9), Ekiti (4), Bauchi-(3), Delta (3), Kano (3), Sokoto (3), Nasarawa (1), Oyo (1).

To date, 209,173 cases have been confirmed, 197,084 discharged and 2,804 deaths

have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
