Nigeria has recorded 39 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 167,142
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its website, https://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng/ on Friday morning, June 18, 2021.
According to NCDC; “The 39 new cases are reported from 6 states- Lagos (34), Ebonyi (1), Ekiti (1), FCT (1), Jigawa (1), Rivers (1).”
The NCDC also added that as of 17 June, 167,142 cases had been confirmed, 163,535 cases treated and discharged, while 2,117 deaths were recorded.
