Nigeria has recorded 97 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of persons who have tested positive in the country to 162,275.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this via its official Twitter handle.
According to the tweet, 97 new cases were from 15 states. Lagos state reported the highest number with 50 new cases, Kaduna was second with 12 while Akwa Ibom, Edo, Kano, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau and Zamfara states had the lowest 1 new case respectively.

The NCDC also tweeted that as of 25 March, 162,275 cases had been confirmed, 149,882 cases treated and discharged, while 2,036 deaths were recorded.
