COVID-19: Nigeria records 116 New Cases

Nigeria has recorded 247 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced this in its daily update on the virus.

 

In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 7 states of the federation.

Imo state takes the lead with 53 cases, Plateau-30, FCT-10, Kano-9, Kaduna-8, Lagos-3, Rivers-3.

 

NCDC said: “Today’s report includes: 30 cases reported for Plateau state are from November 5th (13) and 6th (17), 0 cases reported from Bayelsa, Delta, Edo and Sokoto.”

With the latest report, 212,627 cases have been confirmed, 204,249 people discharged and 2,905 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
