Nigeria has recorded 120 new cases of the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Tuesday night via its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov.

The NCDC stated that the 120 cases are from the following states : Enugu-53, Lagos-22, Rivers-18, Ogun-8, FCT-7, Abia-6, Kano-5, Bauchi-1
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 164,423 with 154, 406 discharged and 2,061 deaths.
