Nigeria has recorded 57 new cases of the novel coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this on Sunday night via its official Twitter handle @NCDCgov.

The NCDC stated that the 57 cases are from the following states : FCT-20, Lagos-19, Bayelsa-7, Kaduna-4, Rivers-3, Osun-3, Jigawa-1.
The latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 163,793 with 154,107 discharged and 2,060 deaths.
