The Nigerian Government has placed a travel ban on 100 passengers for failing to carry out the post-arrival COVID-19 test upon arrival in the country.
The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 issued the ban on Saturday during its daily briefings.
The Task Force also released passport numbers of the affected persons and stated that they would not be allowed to leave the country for the next six months.
“The PTF has placed travel restrictions on the first 100 passengers for non-compliance to the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 test,” the PTF stated in a tweet.
