Britain is looking at tougher testing for all international arrivals while they are in quarantine but no final decision has yet been taken, Environment Secretary George Eustice said on Tuesday.

Reports said that all international arrivals would have to be tested for COVID-19 on days two and eight while in quarantine.

“There is a case for doing some testing during quarantine, we already have a provision so they can test to release from quarantine earlier,” Eustice said. “We’re obviously looking at this to see whether we can strengthen these measures further.”
