Crystal Palace Midfielder Eberechi Eze Gets England Call-Up
Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze earned his first senior call-up for England as coach Gareth Southgate named his squad for next month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers on Wednesday.
Eze, 24, has chosen his path in International football as the Crystal Palace midfielder will now play for England’s senior football team and will not be able to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The midfielder has been in great form for Palace, scoring six goals in his last eight games and Southgate said he would have been in his previous squad but for an injury setback.
“He has finished the season really strongly.” 🌟
