Nigeria lost its opening game in the ongoing Africa Women Handball Championship in Yaonde, Cameroon.
The Coach Rafiu Salami led team had hoped for a better performance in the second stanza after losing the first one but still couldn’t match up with the firework of the Congolese women losing 35 to 16 points in the process.
Nigeria would hope for a better outing when they play host Cameroon in their second game on Thursday.
