President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for Kano on Friday, July 18, to pay a condolence visit following the demise of elder statesman and renowned philanthropist Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

The President’s visit is aimed at consoling the Kano State government, its people, and the family of the late business mogul, as a mark of national unity and respect for Dantata’s enduring legacy in business and philanthropy in Nigeria

It would be recalled that the Nigerian Leader, President Tinubu was out of the country when Alhaji Dantata passed away at the age of 94.

The President directed some ministers, including the Defence Minister, to attend the burial in Saudi Arabia where Dantata was laid to rest beside his wife in Al-Baqi Cemetery in Madina.
