Davido unveils his own electric bike line in Africa
Nigerian Music superstar Davido has unveiled his own line of electric bikes in Africa.

In collaboration with Spiro, a leading electric vehicle company on the continent, the initiative seeks to empower motorcycle riders and promote sustainable transportation.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, Davido revealed that the project had been in the works for years.
He wrote: “Manifestation is spiritual. Years ago, I claimed 30 BG, but it wasn’t just about success – it was about purpose. Today, I’m transforming that vision into something bigger: generational wealth and ownership. With my own line of electric bikes, in partnership with Spiro, we’re not just building a product – we’re building a movement”.

The electric bike line is designed to provide a Made-in-Africa solution for the continent’s transportation needs.
Davido stressed the need to develop solutions within Africa that cater specifically to the continent’s needs.
He wrote: “This isn’t just about business – it’s about creating a Made in Africa solution for Africa.
“Streams might belong to foreign labels, but this is how you flip the script. This is how you turn influence into equity, and visibility into ownership. With financing solutions for riders across Nigeria and Africa, we’re empowering the hardworking individuals who have always been the lifeline of our economy.”
Africa’s bike market is a major industry, with over 27 million motorcycles driving the ambitions and daily hustle of its people.
Davido recognized the essential role that motorcycle riders—known as Okada riders in Nigeria—have played in his journey, viewing this partnership as an opportunity to give back.
“These very Okada drivers, who have backed me throughout my career, have carried my music, my name, and my story to every corner of Nigeria and Africa. Now, it’s time to return the favor.”
“When I said we rise by lifting others, it wasn’t just a motto, it was the blueprint. This partnership I proof that when we create for our people, by our people, we build something that lasts,” he stressed.
The electric bikes are crafted to be both stylish and eco-friendly, with Davido hinting at an upcoming full reveal.

With accessible financing options for riders across Nigeria and the continent, this initiative is geared toward empowering the hardworking individuals who have long been the backbone of the economy.
