Defence Intelligence Agency holds annual Conference and Retreat

As part of efforts to tackle security threats, Nigeria’s Defence Intelligence Agency says it will hold its Annual Defence Advisers/Attaché Conference and its Maiden Defence Intelligence Retreat in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital.

The events will engender interactions with past Directors of the Agency, former Chiefs of Defence Intelligence and senior intelligence practitioners in the Country.

It is aimed at providing platforms for participants to brainstorm and proffer strategies in attaining the core mandate of the Agency.

 

A statement by the Agency said the events would hold on the 8th – 13 November 2021 at the DIA and Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Abuja.

The DIA which is the primary military intelligence agency of Nigeria was established in 1986 to provide an efficient system of obtaining military intelligence for the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence.
