Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, (retired) Gen. Christopher Musa, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to restoring peace and stability across the country, urging Nigerians to unite and work closely with security agencies to confront the nation’s prevailing security challenges.
The minister emphasised the need for a collective national response to the challenges facing the country, stressing that the government alone cannot achieve peace and security.
He noted that the diversity of Nigerians represented in ongoing efforts to safeguard the nation reflects the kind of unity needed to defeat insecurity and strengthen national cohesion.

Rtd General Musa assured citizens that the government of President Tinubu remains fully committed to tackling threats to peace and would not relent in its efforts to secure lives and property.
“We are facing a national challenge, but all Nigerians must unite to address it.”
“Just like the way you see, every Nigerian is represented here. Together, if we join hands and work with the security agencies, we will achieve more. We will get more success. I want to assure Nigerians that we are not relenting.” He added
“The president is determined to ensure that there is peace in Nigeria; we should all put our hands together to ensure that that is achieved.”
He urged Nigerians to put aside differences, join hands in support of the nation’s security architecture, and contribute meaningfully to the shared goal of building a peaceful and stable Nigeria.
