As part of activities scheduled to mark the 2023 Democracy day celebration, President Bola Tinubu is being treated to a special display by Officers and men of the Guards Brigade.
The event started at 09:00 GMT at the forecourt in front of the President’s office.
Soon on arrival he inspected a Guard of Honour mounted for him.

Those in attendance are Vice President Kashim Shettima, who arrived shortly before the President, others are President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume.
Others present at the Forecourt are Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; former Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle; National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu; and the party’s Secretary, Iyiola Omisore.
Others are the Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor; the Service chiefs; Inspector-General of Police; other senior security Chiefs and other senior government officials.
Former Vice President to the winner of the June 12 1993 Presidential Election, Babagana Kingkibe, is a special feature at the event marking the significance of the June 12, 1993, Presidential election.
The event also featured sword drill performance by men of the Guards Brigade as well as cultural dances by various ethnic dance troupe.
