Depot Nigerian Army Strengthens Ties With Zazzau Emirate

The Commandant of Depot Nigerian Army, Major General Ahmadu Bello Mohammed has reaffirmed the military’s commitment to strengthening ties with the Zazzau Emirate Council in Zaria, Kaduna State, Northwestern Nigeria

During a visit to the Emir of Zazzau, His Highness Nuhu Bamali, Mohammed emphasised collaboration in security and training efforts.

Established in 1924, the Nigerian Army Depot Zaria has a long-standing history of training military personnel. As the 38th Commandant, Mohammed joins a legacy of leaders shaping its role in military training, documentation, and record-keeping.

Under his leadership, the depot is set to continue its tradition of excellence.

The visit also served as an opportunity for the Commandant to extend condolences to the Emirate Council on the passing of Alhaji Rilwan Yahaha Fati, the Sarkin Yaki.

In response, the Emir pledged his support for the depot’s mission.
