Deputy Speaker Commiserates With Akwa Ibom Governor On Wife’s Death

Deputy Speaker of Nigeria’s, House of Representatives, Mr. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has commiserated with the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno over the death of his wife and First Lady, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno. 
Kalu in a statement expressed shock and sadness, describing the occurrence as such that has evoked sorrow and pain in the immediate family and the state in general.
Mrs. Patience Umo Emo reportedly died at a hospital on September 26, 2024.
Sympathising with Governor Umo Eno, his family members, the government and the entire people of the Akwa Ibom State over the irreparable and irreplaceable loss, Kalu urged them to take solace in the fact that the First Lady impacted lives and provided support and care for the less privileged and the underserved in the society.
The Deputy Speaker also prayed for the repose of the soul of the Mrs. Umo Eno.
