The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated the Speaker Mr. Tajudeen Abbas on the occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.
Kalu in a congratulatory message described Speaker Abbas as a true democrat, remarkable, passionate and dependable leader who is committed to developing, sustaining Nigeria’s democracy and promoting good governance through effective legislation.
The Deputy Speaker noted that Abbas has exhibited pragmatic leadership style since the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly for the benefit of all Nigerians, saying that his passion to see the country transform for good was commendable.
He stated that with the Speaker’s exemplary leadership and guidance, the 10th House of Representatives is poised for remarkable accomplishments.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Bende Federal Constituency, I wish to congratulate my boss, brother and friend, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, PhD on the occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.
“On this special occasion, I wish to commend your selfless and all inclusive leadership style and your commitment towards uniting the nation. Since the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly in June 2023, you’ve shown your commitment to developing, sustaining Nigeria’s democracy and promoting good governance through effective legislation. Your commitment and laudable contributions to our legislature has indeed impacted the lives and wellbeing of Nigerians.
He said he was grateful for the confidence he had in him to serve, wishing him many happy returns and more prosperous years ahead as he prayed for God’s continous grace for him to pilot the affairs of the 10th House successfully.
