Deputy Speaker, Kalu Condoles with NNPCL GCEO on Daughter’s Death

The Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr, Benjamin Okezie Kalu has condoled with the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari over the death of his 25 years old daughter, Fatima Kyari.

 

Expressing shock and sadness over the occurrence, Kalu in a statement said that her passing has left a void in the family and in the lives of all who knew her, stressing that she will be deeply missed.

 

The Deputy Speaker prayed God to give Kyari and his entire family the strength, comfort, and peace during this dark period.

 

He also prayed for the repose of Fatima’s soul.

 

He said: “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Fatima, your beloved daughter.

 

“I extend my heartfelt condolences to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. The loss of a child is unimaginable and my thoughts and prayers are with your family as you navigate this profound grief.

 

“Fatima’s passing leaves a void in the family and in the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

 

“My heart goes out to you and your loved ones you face this unbearable loss.

 

“I pray for strength, comfort, and peace to envelop the family during this dark hour. Please, accept my heartfelt condolences.”

 

25 years old Fatima Kyari passed on after a protracted illness on Friday eleventh October 2024, and has since been buried according to Islamic rights.
