Ndace, who represented the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, reiterated the minister’s commitment to opening public media outlets for MSMEs’ usage.

The MSMEs Clinic, the first of its kind under the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, aims to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by breaking down barriers and providing crucial resources.

Benue State’s pioneership of the MSMEs Clinic sets the stage for a nationwide rollout scheduled to traverse the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ebonyi, Ogun, Delta, Kaduna, Borno, and Katsina States in a meticulously planned itinerary for the first half of 2024.

This will culminate in the National MSMEs Awards in Abuja, a fitting celebration of entrepreneurial spirit coinciding with World MSME Day on June 27, 2024.

The event, which was graced by the Vice President H.E. Sen. Kashim Shettima, underscored the vital role of Small and Medium Enterprises as key drivers of economic inclusivity, offering essential employment opportunities.

In his capacity as Chairman of the National Council on MSMEs, Vice President Shettima leads a high-level body committed to steering the strategic growth of the MSME sector. This commitment is echoed by stakeholders from the government, industry, and the private sector.

“We are committed to playing our part in advancing initiatives that contribute to the greater good of our nation.

Let’s continue to work together towards a brighter and more collaborative future,” said the DG VON.

Also, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ Agenda, particularly its focus on youth employment through initiatives like the MSMEs Clinic.
