The ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC) has urged Nigerians to stay optimistic for a more prosperous future for the country, as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to tackle the economic and security challenges of the nation.

In an Easter message, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka, while celebrating with Christians on the occasion said, “On this important occasion, we are reminded of God’s infinite capacity to turn dark clouds to silver linings, and hopelessness to great hope and fortunes.

“Essentially, Jesus Christ died and was resurrected to unite and reconcile humanity back to God, our Maker. As we celebrate this rare act of supreme sacrifice, we must strive to follow His lead and embrace those things that unite us as Nigerians rather than those that divide us.

We urge that we all use the occasion of Easter to celebrate with families, friends, neighbours and the less-privileged with selfless love, kindness, compassion, charity and forgiveness – some of the enduring virtues imminent in the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus” Morka said.

Easter, otherwise known as Resurrection Sunday, is core to the Christian faith as it commemorates the resurrection of the crucified Jesus Christ.
