Easter Fun Seekers Throng Lagos Theme Park
During the Easter celebrations, the Hakuna Malaya Theme Park on Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria, was bustling with visitors looking to enjoy the holiday festivities.
People of all ages partook in various recreational activities and relaxed picnics throughout the park.
Miss Iris Isioma, who visited with her boyfriend, expressed her excitement, saying, “I’ve been looking forward to this day. It’s been a stressful week, so I’m glad to relax here with my boo. This is my first visit, and I’m thrilled. I plan to create lovely memories, especially with my boo.”
Mr Joseph Ebele, a businessman and father of four, also shared his enthusiasm: “I’ve been eagerly awaiting today. It’s wonderful to spend time with family in such a serene environment.” He described the park as ideal for enjoying nature and the outdoors, which he believes is good for the soul.
Mr Ikechukwu Osuwah, a job seeker, mentioned that he came to the park to unwind and refresh his mind. “I just wanted to sightsee, have fun, and possibly meet new people,” he said.
A park official, who requested to remain anonymous, noted that the park attracts large crowds daily, regardless of public holidays. “The large turnout isn’t unusual. The park’s high standards continue to draw visitors,” the official added.
