The Senatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Silas Onu and that of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA have accused the All Progressives Congress, APC of election Malpractice ranging from Vote buying, dehumanizing to disenfranchisement.

Onu disclosed this immediately after he voted at Ishieke Village square polling Station 004 in Ohaozara Local Government Area of the State.

“In our polling Station here, the members of APC are busy thumbprinting and voting for others they are not allowing voters to cast their votes willingly rather, they are compelled to vote for APC.

“The Former Governor just came to this polling Station and drop money, as soon as you finished voting for the APC, they will call you and give you money. I have the video of the APC Vote buying here,” he said.

Also, in Afikpo Oziza polling Unit, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Senatorial Candidate, Mr Ifeanyi Eleje said the election was characterized by electoral malpractices.

The election was completely flawed,” Eleje stated.

The candidates said even the security agents were watching them and their vote buying, humiliating people yet they couldn’t do anything to salvage the situation.

Meanwhile, the Ebonyi State Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC Mr Stanley Okoroemegha while contacted said the allegations were unfounded as everything was going smoothly.

“The PDP Candidate Silas Onu was disqualified by the Court, so he lacks the Locus standi to talk about the election.

From what the Governor, Francis Nwifuru has done in the State for the past eight months, all Ebonyi people are voting for APC, that is why they are crying because APC will win the election by God’s grace, “ Okoroemegha said.
