Ebonyi Bye-Election: Works Minister Expresses Optimism For APC’s Victory

The Nigeria Minister for Works, Engineer David Umahi has expressed optimism on the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming bye election for the Senatorial position of Ebonyi South Senatorial zone.

Umahi disclosed this during the stakeholders meeting of people from the Ebonyi South Zone,  held in his Resident in Abakaliki the State Capital.
He said “it is not just to vote for APC candidate to win the Senatorial position of Ebonyi South Zone but it is also to make the Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to feel happy as a way of reciprocating the kind gestures of the Mr President who has given the people of the Southeast Minister of Work”.
For all the Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done to us in Ebonyi State, we should come out en mass to deliver the  APC candidate so that more dividends from our beloved President of the country will come in different dimensions,” Umahi stated.
Provide enough security
He urged the electorate from the Zone not to entertain any fear of coming to vote as all arrange to provide enough security to ensure that no one is harassed is in place.
The State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the State, Mr Stanley Okoroemegha said the state is Hundred percent APC and as such, it is sure that “our Senatorial Candidate For Ebonyi South Zone, Professor Anthony Okorie Ani will emerge victorious on that day of the election”. 
He called on other political parties in the State to maintain peace as APC would not entertain any form of harassment from anyone.
Most of the major political stakeholders from the Zone attended the meeting including the former Commissioner for Information and State Orientation, Barrister Orji Uchenna Orji.
