The Governor prayed for their souls to be exposed in the bosom of the Lord.
The deceased was among a group of 12 prospective corps members in a 14- seater bus involved in the accident.
For her part, the State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs Oladeinde Foluke said the rest of the prospective Corps Members are still receiving treatment in the hospital
She applauded the efforts of the State Government to in ensuring the provision of the basis needs to the corps in actualizing their aims in the State.
Foluke said the State has provided basic needs in the camp.
However, the State Coordinator urged the State Government to help in boosting electricity in the camp by connecting the camp with National grid.
“At the end of the Orientation Course, you will be posted to all the Local Government Areas where your service will be highly needed. I urge all the Local Government Chairmen and Corps Employers to make adequate arrangements on how to take good care of them
“We will not bother the State Government too much but it is important to note that the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Afikpo lacks electricity because of non-connection to the National grid, lack of perimeter fencing to ensure adequate security of Camp facilities, Utility vehicles for inspections and an Ambulance for ambulatory services.
“On our part,we will continue to deploy Corps Members who are ever ready to contribute their quota to the development of the State.”
