“USAID-IHP has equipped this PHCs with items to set up its Nutrition corner for managing children with malnutrition.
They have Also provided Family planning equipment, Delivery kits, and routine drugs for pregnant women during Antenatal care visits”. She added.
Mrs. Oshim, however, noted that the facility is not secure because there is no fence, making it easy for robbers to gain quick access, and this has affected service provision at night.

Consequently, they further informed us that IHP has trained their officers on nutrition to tackle malnourishment in the region.
The health practitioners, however, called on the state government to recruit more health workers to tackle the Challenges facing the health sector due to a lack of manpower.
