Ebonyi: Medical Director Charges Health workers On Selfless Service

The Medical Director in charge of Government House Clinic in Ebonyi State Southeast, Dr Solomon Nwamini has called on the Health workers to remain dedicated and resilient in Healthcare delivery to ensure the wellbeing of Ebonyi people.

The new Medical Director gave this advice during the dedication of the Clinic to God as part of the activities marking his resumption of office.

Dr Nwamini also use the opportunity to ask God almighty to bless the works of their hands.

“As you do your job selflessly, God will give you all the necessary enablement to do more”. He advised.

“As you discharge your duties as Medical practitioners, always ask for God’s grace to enable you care for your patients until they are healed. As you can see, His Excellency the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Honourable Francis Nwifuru has prioritized the healthcare delivery in Ebonyi State, we must work very hard to add to all the effort of the Governor to make the State a Health Tourist Center in the Country”.

“Our Governor has bought SUV cars for all the Medical Doctors to Aide their mobility for efficient healthcare delivery in the State. We must do our own parts to reciprocate all these kind gestures”. Nwamini added.

On his part, the Catholic Priest who performed the Dedication rituals, Reverend Father James Nwofoke urged the Medical workers to see their Job as both Profession and Vocation.

Nwofoke said Medical Services is what you must do with carefulness.

“It is not a profession but a vocation. It is not a work you will do with carelessness”. He added.

The Head Laboratory Department, Mr Simeon Ituma on behalf of others promised to work in Collaboration with other staff in giving adequate healthcare delivery in the State.
