The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State has commended the batch “B” stream 1 of 2021 Corps members of good behavior during their service year.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mr Mercy Bamai Dawuda said this particular batch has represented NYSC in a good manner and has upgraded the image of their families across the country.
“From what I have seen, the corps members have been of good decorum, have maintained discipline throughout their service year, in their their primary place of assignment, they have done well, in Community development service, they have also rendered selfless services to Ebonyi people,” Bamai explained.
Bamai urged the the corps members to continue to be disciplined in all undertakings.
She said, “With discipline, morality is assured. You can always get to the peak of your profession when you are disciplined”.
She urged them to learn skills that can help them to improve instead of depending on certificates only.
In her words , “In this 21st century, it is all about what you can do and not the biggest certificate you are carrying,” .
Mrs Bama while condemning the actions of those Corps Members who have committed offenses , she said the service year of the culprits have been extended.

One of the passing out Corps Members, Mr Ugbaje Achema from Kogi State said he was very happy to have been posted to Ebonyi State.
He said Ebonyi was number one in infrastructure in the entire Southeast Nigeria.
He added that Ebonyi has been up to date in payment of their allowances.
