The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has tasked the outgoing Corps members of 2021 batch ‘B’ stream ‘II’ to relay all the Entrepreneurship skills they have acquired during their service years to other Nigerian youths in their various States as they go back.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Mercy Bamai gave this advice while delivering her speech during the passing out parade (POP) of the Corps members in Abakaliki Local Government Headquarters, Ebonyi State.
Bamai said “as you are going back to your various States of origin, I urge you to be good ambassadors out there and with all the skills you have acquired here, retrain other youths in your States so that they can also have something doing and as such, Nigeria will be greater and better in the area of economic viability”
Consequently, Bamai informed the passing out corps members that NYSC is in all the 774 LGAs in Nigeria and so; should go there and ask questions on how to get money to start up their business.
Moreso, she encouraged them to apply discipline in all they do in life.
One of the Corps members, Bala Abubakar from Yobe State, on behalf of others thanked NYSC for the training so far and Ebonyi People for their hospitality.
A total of 428 Corps members passed out, Absconded ones are 12 while extended ones are 9.
