Ebonyi Senator Applauds Transport Union for Job Creation

The Senator Representing Ebonyi North Senatorial Zone, Chief Onyekachi Nwebonyi has applauded the Ebonyi State Chapter of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW  for Creating Job opportunities for over 20 percent of the State’s population.

 

Senator Nwebonyi gave the Commendation when the Leadership and Members of the Union paid a New Year homage to the Senator at his country home Isophumini in Mbeke Development Center, Ebonyi Local Government Area of the State.

 

Senator Nwebonyi said “starting from my community here, I know many jobless people in which NURTW has directly and indirectly given Jobs.”

 

The society cannot be complete without this Union because you are doing a wonderful job in every community in Ebonyi State and Nigeria at large.

 

“If you come to Ebonyi State today,  NURTW has given Job to over 20 percent to population of the State and by God’s grace, by the time this Road is linked to Benue State and then to Abuja, the economy of the State will appreciate and all the benefits will be centered on the NURTW”. Nwebonyi informed.

 

Meanwhile, the State Chairman of the Union, Comrade Emeka Godwin Mbam assured the Senator of their unalloyed support to ensure a continuous development of their communities.

 

Senator Nwebonyi has through his empowerment program, provided vehicles including tricycles and motorcycles to the people, as part of measures to create employment in the transport sector.  

 

The Senator also received the people of Ezza Effium, led by his Media Aide,  Romanus Uzor.
