Ebonyi State Governor Commends INEC’s Credible Conduct Of Bye- Election

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Nwifuru has commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the smooth conduct of the Ebonyi South Senatorial Bye-election in the State.

Governor Nwifuru said this after monitoring accreditation and voting across polling units in Ebonyi South Senatorial Zone.

He applauded the electoral umpire for timely commencement of the exercise and urged them to ensure that the votes of the people count in the exercise.

The Governor who maintained that as Chief Security Officer of the State, he was in the zone to monitor the exercise also thanked Security Agencies for maintaining law and order across the Zone during the exercise.

Governor Nwifuru lauded the people for conducting themselves properly before, during and after the voting process

On his part, Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi said with the level of infrastructural and human capacity development already rolled out by Governor Nwifuru’s administration, he was confident that the All Progressives Congress, APC would cruise to victory in the election.
